We're having an Open Meeting, August 6–8, 2004, at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. Our goal is to bring together lots of folks who need to talk to one another, and to get lots of details about how N4 is going to work finalized and pinned down.

Meeting Space

We have an Executive Suite at the Sheraton for (2) nights (which we'll use for hospitality purposes and informal meetings) along with meeting space from 5:00 pm on Friday to 11:59 pm on Sunday:

We should plan to be done and out by 5 pm on Sunday.

Please note that some people have arranged for meetings, interviews, etc., at times before 3 pm on Friday and after 5 pm on Sunday, but this is the general schedule as we have it now.

Please also note that we do NOT want working on N4 to pose a heinous financial burden to anyone, so please check with your area head or division head before making arrangements to come all the way out here. Unless you just want to come and have fun (and the last meeting was fun)—in which case, please do. The program is fascinating, the facility is pleasant, and the membership is pretty selective. (And, of course, all of the badges are readable.)

We'll have details up of what individual sessions will be happening in the next week.
