Re: Worship Services

Sunday 9am, there is a christain worship service at the convention. Being with a bunch of scifi fans, make for a good service.

Hopefully, Father Blakker is attending.

Has anyone seen "Boston" bumper stickers for sale?

There are some available online, DNC souvenirs and the band Boston's logo, for example. But I'd prefer not to pay postage for something that we can probably walk right in and buy when I'm in town for Noreascon.

So if you're in Boston, can you keep your eyes open for me, please? I'm looking for stickers that include the word "Boston," so we can stick them on the sides of the Fan Gallery shipping cases.

It doesn't matter if it says something else too; we have stickers that say "Burbank Printing" and "framingham.com" and "Kansas City Blues Society" from previous places the Fan Gallery has been exhibited.

If you've found a gift shop that has some, please let me know which one where -- this sort of thing is getting harder to find in airport and hotel gift shops.

Thanks for the help!

Two more things about the NPS guided tours - they recommend arriving at the office at least 30 minutes prior to the tour to pick up tickets. The tours are free!

The National Park Service offers 90-minute guided walking tours every day at 10, 11, and 2. I checked with the ranger on duty at the Information Center, and he believes this schedule will be in place for Labor Day weekend. Meet at their office at 15 State Street (directly across from the Old State House, on the Blue Line or a short walk from the Government Center Green Line station). Their number is 617-242-5642, and their Web site is http://www.nps.gov/bost/

For tours of haunted Boston, it looks like you have the option of a walking tour: http://boston.travelape.com/tours/boston-spirits-walking-tour/

or a trolley tour:

One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to go on ghost walking tours. Does anyone know if there are any in Boston? Are any walking tours available in Boston?
