FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Noreascon Four has posted an amended listing of the nominees for the 2004 Hugo Awards and the Retrospective Hugo Awards for work done in 1953 on its web site at http://www.noreascon.org/hugos/nominees.html to correct a significant error in the Retrospective Hugo list.

Please note that this significant correction is to substitute "Three Hearts and Three Lions" by Poul Anderson for "Daughters of Earth" by Judith Merril on the Retrospective Hugo Best Novella listing.

The Merril work was actually published in 1952, and it was included on the ballot through our failure to verify publication information.

The Anderson story, which is eligible and fully qualified for nomination, is the novella-length version of this work; it was originally published in Fantasy & Science Fiction, Sept. and Oct. 1953.

We apologize for this error and any inconvenience it may have caused.
