Japan has won the right to host the 2007 Worldcon.

In balloting that concluded at 6:00pm Saturday, 1686 ballots were cast. Nippon2007 received 935 votes, and Columbus in 2007 received 692. The detailed vote breakdown is as follows:

Progress Report 6

Noreascon's Progress Report 6, which contains the Site Selection ballots, was mailed to Noreascon 4 members on May 20, 2004. The Columbus 2007 bid ad was accidentally omitted from that PR and can be viewed online; the Nippon 2007 ad is on page 17 of the PR. Noreascon 4 apologizes to the bidders for our mistake.
